BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - JOHN STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect-Introduce the Prohibition of Waiting at any Time Restriction over the following length of John Street:
(a) From a point approximately 25 metres from the junction of Kingswood Street and Carlton Hill, on the west side of John Street, in a south westerly direction for approximately 55 metres, in front of the hoarding in place for construction works
2.The Order is necessary to maintain safety to the travelling public and unobstructed vehicle access whilst construction vehicles service construction works to the police station.
3. This Order comes into force on 22nd September 2017 for eighteen months or until such soon time as the works are completed.
