(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 88 Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the existing 'No Waiting/No Loading 7am - 7pm'
restrictions on the following lengths of Station Approach, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Station SOUTH EAST SIDE: from its junction with Station Avenue
Approach, in a south westerly direction for a distance of
Wickford approximately 39 metres up to the "Limited Waiting bay".
NORTH WEST SIDE: Along its whole length from its
junction with Station Avenue up to the junction with the private access road - an approximate distance of 63 metres.
Island: whole perimeter of island a distance of approximately 62 metres.
(Bruton Link, Dulwich Avenue, Roedean Crescent, Stamford Drive, Tonbridge Drive, Warwick Crescent, Basildon) (20mph Zone) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of Bruton Link, Dulwich Avenue, Roedean Crescent, Stamford Drive, Tonbridge Drive, Warwick Crescent in the Borough of Basildon:

Bruton Link, From its junction with Dulwich Avenue for its entire Basildon length to its junction with Stamford Drive.
Dulwich From its junction with School Avenue for its entire

2. To introduce 'No Waiting/No Loading at Any Time' Restrictions' on the following lengths of Station Approach, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon:

Description
Station SOUTH EAST SIDE: From its junction with Station Approach, Avenue, generally south west to a point approximately Wickford 30 metres north of the south easterly corner of the station building.
NORTH WEST SIDE:
i. From its junction with Station Avenue, south west for a distance of approximately 14 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 31 metres south west of its junction with Station Avenue, south west for a distance of approximately 7 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 57 metres south west of its junction with Station Avenue south west for a distance of approximately 6 metres to its junction with the private access road.
Island: From the southernmost point of the island in a clockwise direction for a distance of approximately 33 metres to the eastern most point of the island.
3. To decrease the size and amend the times of the existing 'Limited Waiting Mon - Sat 8am to 7pm of 30mins No return within 1 hour' restrictions to 'Limited Waiting Monday - Saturday 8am to 7pm of 10mins No return within 1 hour' restrictions covering the below length of Station Approach, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon:

Station SOUTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately Approach, 20 metres north of the south easterly corner of the Wickford station building, north for a distance of approximately 13 metres.
4. The proposal will also include 2 TSRGD bus stops and 1 bus stand located on the following lengths of Station Approach, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Station SOUTHERN SIDE OF CENTRAL TRAFFIC ISLAND: for
Approach, a distance of approximately 12 metres (bus stand).
Wickford NORTH-WESTERN SIDE:
i. From a point 14 metres southwest of its junction with Station Avenue to a point 31 metres southwest of its junction with Station Avenue, a distance of 17 metres (bus stop).
ii. From a point 38 metres southwest of its junction with Station Avenue to a point 57 metres southwest of its junction with Station Avenue, a distance of
19 metres (bus stop).
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile number TQ745 935 revision 7 to revision 8.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 7 August 2017.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Bohun Link, Burnt Mills Road, Courtauld Road, Felmores/Lanhams, Basildon) (7.5 tonne Environmental Weight Restriction) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), (2), 2(4) and 3(2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 7.5 tonne environmental weight restriction on the following lengths of Bohun Link, Burnt Mills Road and Courtauld Road, in the Borough of Basildon:
Road Description
Bohun Link, From its roundabout junction with Burnt Mills Road, Basildon in a northerly direction to its junction with Wollaston Way.
Burnt Mills From its junction with Pound Lane, in a westerly Road, Bowers directions for a distance of approximately Gifford/ 1300 metres, to its junction with Rushley.
Basildon
Courtauld From its junction with Burnt Mills Road, in a north Road, easterly and then north westerly direction for
Basildon approximately 272 metres.
'The District of Basildon (Ravenscroft Bridge/Burnt Mills Road) (Weight Restriction) Order 2000' is hereby revoked.
'The District of Basildon (Felmores, Pitsea, Basildon) (Weight Restriction and One Way Traffic) and (Road 45 Felmores End and Service Road) (Bus Lane and One Way Traffic) (Revocation) Order 1995' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Felmores only. All other restrictions will remain in force. The 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Felmores/Lanhams, Basildon will continue in force by virtue of this order.
