(Noak Hill Road, Billericay) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following length of Noak Hill Road, Billericay in the Basildon District, from its junction with Church Street, for a distance of approximately 370m in a northerly direction.
The speed limit is scheduled to commence on 24th July 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0071000611769 - Cadent) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org The temporary speed limit is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent. The existing 50mph speed limit on Noak Hill Road, Billericay, as detailed in "The District of Basildon (Basildon, Billericay and Wickford) (Speed limit and restricted roads consolidation) Order 2000" will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works. All other restrictions contained in the order shall continue in force.
The Order will come into effect on 20th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 20/07/2017
