The Essex County Council (Claremont Crescent and Diamond Close (Former Eon Site), Rayleigh) (20mph Zone) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of Claremont Crescent and Diamond Close (Former Eon Site), Rayleigh in the District of Rochford:
Road Description
Claremont From its junction with Crescent, London Road for its entire Rayleigh length.
Diamond From its junction with
Close, Claremont Crescent for its
Rayleigh entire length.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 15 May 2017. Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
