BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - CASTLE STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Castle Street its junction with Preston Street eastwards for approximately 30 metres.
(b) During the closure to maintain access to premises in both Stone Street and the remaining length of Castle Street both existing one way traffic
orders will be suspended.
2. The Order is necessary to allow Contractors to carry out works to install a
new sewer connection.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 10th April 2017 for Hfci^ eighteen months or until such sooner time as the llllll^^ works are completed.
