Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
North Yorkshire County Council Footpath Nos. 35.73/5, Whitley Lee, Whitley and 35.34/3, Junction House, Heck Diversion Order 2016
The above Order, made on 27 January 2017 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpaths described below and modify the Former West Riding Area 3 Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Footpath No. 35.73/5, Whitley, running eastwards for approximately 606 metres between Grid Reference SE57522078 and SE58102083 via SE57682083 and SE57922077 onto a new route running from the same start point and running eastwards for approximately 590
metres to SE58082078 via SE57682073 and SE57932081.
Footpath 35.34/3, Heck, running west for approximately 287 metres between Grid Reference SE58392083 and SE58102083, onto a new route running west for approximately 286 metres between SE58372079 and SE58082078. A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate Selby YO8 4EQ, North Yorkshire, until 16 March 2017. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Andy Hunter, Diversion Officer at the above address to arrive not later than 16 March 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
