(Pier Avenue, Clacton-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pier Avenue, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring from its junction with Pier Avenue to its junction with Rosemary Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2016 for two days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Pier Avenue, Jackson Road, West Road, Ellis Road, Rosemary Road West, and Rosemary Road.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 1st December 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cliff Road, Holland on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council
has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of
Cliff Road, Holland-on-Sea in the District of Tendring from
a point 95 metres from the junction with Primrose Road
for a distance of approximately 28m towards York Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st November
2016 for four days or where appropriate signs are
showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while gas connection works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via York Road, Canterbury
Road, Primrose Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians
will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 21 st November 2016
and may continue in force for 18 months or until the
works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Crown Lane, Weeley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council
has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of
Crown Lane, in the Parish of Weeley in the District of
Tendring from its junction with access road to Hill Farm,
south for approximately 600 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 November
2016 for one day or where appropriate signs are showing
and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement of telegraph pole is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Crown Lane, The Street, Crow Lane, Thorpe Road, Colchester Road, and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 21 November 2016 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Road, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, in the Parish of Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, approximately 40 metres north west of its junction with Hurst Green, north west for approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 22 November
2016 for three days or where appropriate signs are
showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while gas works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Chapel Road, Red Barn
Road, Bateman Road, Ladysmith Avenue, High Street,
and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians
will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 22 November 2016 and
may continue in force for 18 months or until the works
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Modification No. 606 Footpath 53 Frinton and Walton (Tendring District) Order 2015
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs on 5 September 2016 confirmed the above mentioned Order with modifications and it took effect on that day.
The effect of the Order is to modify the Definitive Map for the County of Essex by:-
Adding a length of public footpath from Churchfield Road between numbers 20 and 22 in a generally northerly direction for a distance of 35 metres to Point B at Mill Lane car park. The width of the way is 1.6 metres narrowing to 1.1 metres approximately 17 metres along its length. The path is used subject to the periodic restriction of the available width between Nos. 20 and 22 Churchfield Road by ladders or scaffolding to facilitate the maintenance or repair of those buildings.
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford, where copies will be available on request at a charge. If any person is aggrieved by this Order and desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 to the Act.
