(A1025 M11 junction 7a Link Road Eastbound Carriageway, Sheering) (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 in the interests of public safety.
Effects of the order: To impose a speed limit of 40mph on that new length of the A1025 M11 junction 7a Link Road Eastbound Carriageway, Sheering in the District of Epping Forest, from the Campions roundabout eastwards to the Western Dumbbell roundabout of M11 junction 7a.
The Speed limit Order is scheduled to commence on Friday 6th May 2022 and will come into effect on that date or when the road is open to the public whichever is the later. The restriction is required for public safety following a detailed safety audit of the route. Notice is also given that the permanent speed limit process will also shortly be commenced. The speed restriction will remain in force under this temporary order for up to 18 months.
