BRIGHTON & HOVE OUTER AREAS (WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING) AND CYCLE LANES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2018 AMENDMENT NO.8 2021 (REF: TRO-2-2021)
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") has on 9 June 2021 made the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into operation on 14 June 2021 will make the following changes:-New lengths of double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) in Overdown Rise, Gorse Close and Swallows Rise. Modifications
Following comments to the proposals a change to the order as originally proposed and advertised on 5th March 2021 is as follows:-Brighton & Hove Various Controlled Parking Zones Consolidation Order 2018 Amendment Order No.* 202* (ref: TRO-2-2021) - the double yellow lines proposed on Overdown Rise on the north side, east of Swallows Rise have been reduced from 18 metres to 5 metres. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
