(DALE ROAD AND RIDGE WAY, CRAYFORD) - NOTICE OF INTENTION

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable J B Riney on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley to undertake highway improvement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

.



The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable J B Riney on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley to undertake highway improvement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

■ No waiting and no loading in The Green, Welling from outside 65 to 124.



? A road closure to vehicular traffic in The Green, Welling from outside 65 to 124.



2. The Order will come into effect on 15 February 2021 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.



3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative route will be provided via:



■ Hook Lane, Sutherland Avenue, The Green and reverse.



? The Green, Hook Lane, Cumberland Avenue, Northumberland Avenue, Hook Lane and reverse



4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.



5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

* No waiting and no loading in Long Lane from the junction of Erith Road to Belvedere Road the entire length both side of the carriageway, restriction will be removed when works allow.



* A road closure to vehicular traffic in Long Lane from the Junction of Erith Road to Belvedere Road.



* During the road closure there will be no egress or ingress from the following road junction with Long Lane, Rydal Drive, Heversham Road, Francis Avenue, Bowness Road, Woolwich Road, Palmar Crescent, Haslemere Road, Hyde Road, access will be provided when works allow.



2. The Order will come into effect on 14 February 2021 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.



3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative diversion will be provided via;



Erith Road, Mayplace Road West, Amsburg Way, Broadway, Crook Log, Avenue Road, Pickford Lane, Long lane and reverse.

Erith Road, Bexley Road, Carlton Road, Brook Street Parsonage Manorway, Bedonwell Road, Long lane and reverse.
