(Footpath 5, Hockley) [Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 5, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Blountswood Road (Footpath 3, Hullbridge), south east for approximately 90 metres to the railway. The closure is scheduled to commence on 09/11/2020 to 16/02/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a crane is installed and used for sheet piles for the ongoing embankment works. The alternative route will be via around the compound site. The Order will come into effect on 09/11/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Canvey Way, Bowers Gifford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Canvey Way, Bowers Gifford in the Borough of Basildon, from its eastbound entry slip (only) with Sadlers Farm Roundabout to the end of its onslip with A130 Canvey Way for a distance of approximately 765m in a northeasterly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in that length of Canvey Way, Bowers Gifford in the Borough of Basildon, from its eastbound entry slip (only) with Sadlers Farm Roundabout to the end of its onslip with A130 Canvey Way for a distance approximately 765m in a northeasterly direction.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2020 for 12 nights (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004604 - Balfour Beatty & Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge bearing refurbishment works are undertaken by Balfour Beatty & Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Canvey Way, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, London Road, Pitsea Bypass, A13 Underpass, Broadway Link Roundabout, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Michaels Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Michaels Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from both of its junctions with Bramble Road to its junction with A127 Arterial Road a distance of approximately 750m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th November 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004663 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while street cleansing works are undertaken by Castle Point Borough Council.
An alternative route is available via A127 Arterial Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A127 To A129 Westbound, Rayleigh Road, Daws Heath Road, Bramble Road.
The Order will come into effect on 12th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road for a distance of approximately 265m in a north then northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11 th November 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA48685245B - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by BT. Alternative routes are available via
1. Arterial Road, Progress Road, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood Road, Daws Heath Road.
2. Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, Hight Street, High Road, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road - A129 to A127 Eastbound, Arterial Road.
The Order came into effect on 29th October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Street/Lambourne Hall Road, Canewdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street/ Lambourne Hall Road, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from the junction with Althorne Way to the junction of Anchor Lane a distance of approximately 110m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th November 2020 for 1 evening/night (20:30 - 23:30), or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M2416 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while permanent carriageway reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Creeksea Ferry Road, Gore Road, Apton Hall Road, Scotts Hall Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 29th October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Radford Way, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Radford Way, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junctions with Mountnessing Road Roundabout tor a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th November 2020 for 1 night (19:00-23:30), or where stated on a valid permit (BC211SEWAQM635W005 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Stock Road, High Street, Western Road, London Road, Mountnessing Road, Perry Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 29th October 2020 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
