NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Traffic Orders under sections 6,45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above-mentioned Traffic Orders under sections 6,45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Bexley Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 20XX would be amend the Bexley (Bexley Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 to: -



a) make minor changes to the layout of parking places within the Order designations, without physically changing any locations on the ground outside of No. 23 North Cray Road, Bexley.

3. The general effect of the Bexley (New Eltham) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 20XX, would be to amend the Bexley (New Eltham) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 to: -



a) convert part of the existing residents bay outside of No. 93 -98 Oakley Drive, New Eltham to a Disabled Persons Parking Bay,

Copies of the proposed Orders, the corresponding Parent Orders (and any Orders that have amended that Order), the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, plans which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the London Borough of Bexley, Public Realm Management, Traffic Services, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT within 28 days of the date of this Notice.



7. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.

2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -



a) to remove the existing Free Parking Bay outside Nos. 17/19 Pickford Close, Bexleyheath.



b) this parking bay which currently operates free 'at all times' will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of' 10.00am - 12.00pm, Monday - Friday'.

a) designate new disabled parking places in which disabled person's vehicles, displaying a disabled person's blue badge may be left during the permitted hours, without charge, in the vicinity of: -173 Brook Street, Erith. 35 Elm Road, Slade Green. 52 Hengist Road, Erith. 89 Hengist Road, Erith. 110 Hurstwood Avenue, Bexleyheath. 190 Iron Mill Lane, Crayford. 17 Upper Abbey Road, Erith. 51 Wolsley Close, Crayford.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ORDER 2020 (CHAPEL HILL, CRAYFORD) - NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to J B Riney on behalf of the London Borough of Bexley to construct a new traffic island and crossing, the effects of which will be the introduction of no parking and no loading in Chapel Hill at the junction of Chapel Close to the junction of Old Road both sides of the carriageway. There will also be a road closure to vehicular traffic on Chapel Hill from the junction of Chapel Close to Bexley Lane. During the closure there will be a no left turn from Chapel Close on to Chapel Hill, and the removal of the no entry restriction allowing 2-way traffic in Chapel hill from the junction of Star Hill to Old Road.

3. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternative diversion will be provided via:



Vehicles Traveling from Bexley Lane to Chapel Hill; London Road, Crayford High Street, Old Road, Chapel Hill.

Vehicles traveling from Chapel Hill to Bexley Lane; Old Road, Crayford High Street, Bexley Lane. Vehicles traveling from Crayford High Street to Bexley Lane; Old Road, Manor Way Mayplace Road East, Perry Street Old Road, Crayford High Street, Bexley Lane.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the Direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.



5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
