LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY The Bromley (Prescribed Route) (No. 4) (School Streets) Experimental Order 2020. The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. 208) Experimental Order 2020. The Bromley (Prescribed Route) (No. 5) (One Way) Experimental Order 2020. The Bromley (Prescribed Route) (No. 6) (Road Closure) Experimental Order 2020. (Various Locations)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 15th September 2020 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 9 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) which will come into operation on 1 st October 2020. As part of Covid-19 measures, the effect of the Orders will be to:-
(a) prohibit vehicles, except pedal cycles and permitted vehicles, from entering into or proceeding in the lengths of roads (School Streets), during the prohibited hours, as specified in the Schedule to this notice. Restrictions will be physically enforced with traffic signs and the installation of moveable barriers, managed by nominated members of school staff;

(b) prohibit vehicles entering or exiting School Road, Chislehurst at its junction withRoyal Parade;

(c) introduce One-Way systems as specified in the Schedule to this Order,

(d) introduce wailing restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this Order. The schemes will be reviewed after being in operation for six months and if successful may be made permanent under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Any person wishing to object to the indefinite continuation of the Orders, may, within a period of six months from the day on which the experimental Orders come into force, send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Executive Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)RP/T100/692, or by emailing

. SCHEDULE:-SCHOOL STREETS
Mondays to Fridays, between 8.20am to 8.45am and between 3.25pm to 3.45pm, during school term tlme:-
DYKE DRIVE, Orpington, the access road adjacent to No. 66 leading to the entrance to Hillside Primary School.
Mondays to Fridays, between 8.30am to 9.30am and between 2.30pm to 3.45pm, during school term time:-
HOOKWOOD ROAD, Pratts Bottom, which lies between its northern junction with Rushmore Hill and the northern boundary of No. 1 Hookwood Cottages. Mondays to Fridays, between 8.15am to 9.30am and between 2.30pm to 3.45pm, during school term time:-
MALCOLM ROAD, Penge, which lies between its junction with Oakfield Road south eastwards to its extremity.
Mondays to Fridays, between 8am to 9am and between 3pm to 3.45pm, during school term time:-
PARK ROAD, St. Mary Cray, which lies between its junction with High Street eastwards to its extremity.
Mondays to Fridays, between 8.30am to 9.30am and between 2.10pm to 3.30pm, during school term time:-
TILLINGBOURNE GREEN, Orpington, which lies between its junctions with Church Hill Wood and Lee Green. ONE WAY SYSTEM
CHURCH ROW, Chislehurst, between its junctions with School Road and the unnamed slip road fronting St. Nicholas Church in a north to south direction. SCHOOL ROAD, Chislehurst, between its junctions with the east to west arm of Camden Close (fronting The White House) and Church Row in a south west to north east direction. WAITING RESTRICTIONS No Waiting At Any Time:-
DYKE DRIVE, Orpington, the north west side, from a point 2m south west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 66 & 68 south westwards for a distance of 21m.
