Notice is hereby given

that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:


1. To revoke the existing ‘Permit Parking Area A Mon-Sat 9am-5pm’ restrictions on the following lengths of road, in the Borough of Basildon within the below locations:


Road Description


Waldegrave, Basildon
NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 1.6 metres east of the shared boundary of 14 & 16 Waldegrave, westwards for an approximate distance of 5.5 metres.

Takely End, Basildon
NORTH SIDE: From a point in line with the projected adjoining building boundary of 24 & 26 Takely End in a westerly direction for an approximate distance of 6 metres.

SOUTH SIDE: From a point approximately 1.4 metres west of the projected building boundary of 32 & 34 Witchards westwards for an approximate distance of 5 metres.

2. To revoke the existing ‘Permit Parking Area B Mon-Sat 9am-5pm’ restrictions on the following lengths of road, in the Borough of Basildon within the below locations:

NORTH WEST SIDE: In the parking bay from a point approximately 6.5 metres south west of the projected adjoining building boundary of 117 & 115 Roodegate in a south westerly direction for an approximate distance of 5 metres.
