The Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 20XX
I. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Traffic Order under sections 6,45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2 The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -
(a) to remove the existing Resident andVisitor Permit Parking Bay outside No. 15 Clarence Road, Sidcup. This parking bay which currently operates between '1.00pm -3.00pm, Monday- Friday" will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of 1.00pm - 3.00pm, Monday - Frida/ that coincides with the existing Controlled Parking Zone prescribed hours.
(b) to amend the existing 'free' parking place nearest to the junction of Birkbeck Road, from three (3) 'free' parking places to,two (2) 'free' parking places and one (I) resident and visitor permit parking place,
This section of parking bay which currently operates as 'free' which is to be converted to resident and visitor permit parking place will operate 1.00pm - 3.00pm, Monday - Friday
3. Copies of the proposed Order,the corresponding Parent Order (and any Orders that have amended that Order),the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order.and maps which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT

5. COUNCIL TAX PREMIUMS - LONG TERM EMPTY HOMES
FINANCIAL YEAR BEGINNING ON I APRIL 2019 AND SUBSEQUENT FINANCIAL YEARS
Section 11 (l)ofthe Local Government FinanceAct 2012, inserts a new Section 11A into the Local Government FinanceAct 1992, empowering a billing authority to determine the discount applicable on specified classes of empty properties and that the Council could determine that the discounts did not apply or could be such percentage up to 100% as it may specify.
The Rating (Property in Common Occupation) and Council Tax (Empty Dwellings) Act 2018 amended section 11B of the Local Government FinanceAct 1992, empowering a billing authority to determine the percentage applicable (a premium) on long term empty dwellings from 01 April 2019.The bill became an Act of Parliament on I November 2018.
The following recommendation with regard to CouncilTax premiums on long-term empty homes was approved at a meeting of the Council's Public Cabinet on 13 November 2018.
* That having regard to s 11 B of the Local Government FinanceAct 1992, that properties designated as long term empty homes be charged the following premiums on the Council Tax until further notice:
* from 01 April 2019 a 100% premium, where the property has been empty for more than 2 years.
* from 01 April 2020 a 200% premium, where the property has been empty for more than 5 years.
* from 01 April 2021 a 300% premium, where the property has been empty for more than lOyears,

The Bexley (Miscellaneous Parking Places) (Amendment No. 5) Traffic Order 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley has on 9th March 2020 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6,45,46,49,51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
The general effect of the traffic orders listed above would be to amend part of existing paid for or free parking places in the relevant roads mentioned below so that two bays can only be used by electrically propelled vehicles (including electrical hybrid vehicles).This will apply at all times, but other daytime operational arrangements and charges (where applicable) are detailed below for each location. The general effect of the Bexley (Miscellaneous Parking Places) (Amendment No. 5) Traffic Order 2020 would be to amend the Bexley (Miscellaneous Parking Races) Traffic Order 2019 to revise part of existing parking places at the following location for use by electric vehicles:
Danson Lane at the junction ofWelling High Street, revise part of an existing parking place as item 2 and the operational arrangements for parking remain the same i.e. Mon to Sat 8.00am to 7.00pm, but the I -hour time limit will be increased to 2 hours, no return within I hour
Copies of the Orders which become operational on 19th March 2020 and any Orders that have amended those Orders, the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and plans which indicate the roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT Further information may be obtained by telephoning Michael Wenbourne on 020 3045 5812, Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
