Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To revoke 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Goojerat Road in the Borough of Colchester to allow the installation of a Zebra Crossing and associated Zig Zags: BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 19.1 metres north west from the south eastern property boundary of number 3 Goojerat Road, in a south westerly direction for approximately 32 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TL985 240 revision 0 to revision 1.

Notice is also hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on Goojerat Road in the Borough of Colchester, the centre line of the crossing will be located approximately 7.4 metres north west from the south eastern property boundary of number 3 Goojerat Road.

Zig zags associated with the Zebra Crossing are proposed to be installed on the following lengths of Goojerat Road in the Borough of Colchester: 1) BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 10.6 metres north west from the south eastern property boundary of number 3 Goojerat Road, in a north westerly direction for approximately 8.7 metres. 2) BOTH SIDES: From a point approximately 4.2 metres north west from the south eastern property boundary of number 3 Goojerat Road, in a south easterly direction for approximately 16.9 metres.

1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the Borough of Colchester and the District of Braintree, as detailed in the Schedule.



2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.



3. A temporary 'No Waiting' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



4. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition ofWaiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.



5. "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition ofWaiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.



The works are scheduled to commence after 06/02/20, as stated on a valid permit.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or

displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and

then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion

routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each

phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast

installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband.

The Order will come into effect on 06/02/20 and may continue in force for 18 months

or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Wallace Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Wallace Road, Myland in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Northern Approach to its junction with Hakewill Way, a distance of approximately 90m.



2. To temporarily introduce a 'no waiting' restriction on both sides of the carriage way in the above length of road for the duration of the closure.



"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Carringtons Road, Great Bromley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 140m east of its junction with Colchester Road to its junction with Little Bromley Road, a distance of approximately 1570m.
