Notice is hereby given that Essex county council has granted planning permission for the construction of an agricultural reservoir involving the extraction, processing and exportation of sand and gravel and soils; the erection and use of an on-site processing plant with ancillary facilities; and highway and access improvements at land at Sheepcotes Farm, Sheepcotes Lane, Little Waltham, Chelmsford, CM3 3LU. Together with the construction of an associated irrigation pipeline to the site from the proposed abstraction point (River Chelmer at Langleys, Great Waltham) - Application reference: ESS/01/18/CHL

(Ranks Green Road, Great Leighs) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ranks Green Road, Great Leighs in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 40m southeast of its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 175m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034816576 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Ranks Green Road, Fairstead Road, Fairstead Hall Road, Braintree Road, Fuller Street, Boreham Road, Mill Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 1st August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Three Mile Hill, Ingatestone in the City of Chelmsford, from Widford Roundabout to Three Mile Hill Roundabout, a distance of approximately 2935m (Southbound only)
2. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in that length of Three Mile Hill, Ingatestone in the City of Chelmsford, from Widford Roundabout to Three Mile Hill Roundabout, a distance of approximately 2935m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd August 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002669 - Essex County Council). The Temporary 40mph speed limit is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2019 for 21 days or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10002728 - Essex County Council). Woodham Ferrers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th August 2019 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required to allow a safe working area to build a new roundabout and access to new NHS site and Sainsbury being undertaken by Henry Construction PLC. An alternative route is available via Inchbonnie Road, Burnham Road, B1012, Ferrers Road, Clements Green Lane, Hullbridge Road, Saltcoats Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 8th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
