Essential 'all-dayer' at the Civic Hall

MORE musical goodness right on your doorstep courtesy of those right-on dudes at the Trash Society - the people responsible for the recent increase in activity at The Fat Surfer in Grays.
On Saturday, January 26, The Civic Hall in Grays hosts what they boast is the biggest ever live indoor music event in Essex; quite a claim, but regardless of the validity of that statement this is undoubtedly essential for anyone in the area with even a passing interest in alternative rock.
Taking place under the banner 'The Upload All Ages All Dayer', the bill features 12 name bands and DJs from far and wide, starting at midday and finishing at midnight - with metal and indie bands and everything inbetween, along with Enter Shikari DJs, merchandise stalls, Rocksound and XFM CD giveaways and with radio stations recording the event.
The line-up includes V2007 performers Rosalita, the explosive Paige, recent Reuben and Young Knives tour support Baddies and local Rocksound faves One Fell Down.
Tickets are available in advance from Thurrock DJ Supplies in Crammaville Street, Stifford Clays, and will also be in plentiful supply on the day itself.
For further information on the event, email info@thetrashsociety.com with 'Upload' in the subject box.

I agree with the other guy.
Trash Society has no intentions, other than making money.
They are a complete joke and run by morons.

[bold]musical goodness??
riiiight.
last upload had one good metal band and a load of indy stuff.
looks like its gonna bhe same this time round
the reason not many people go is that the music played there seems to be becoming only one genre so only people interested in that will go.
i admit i'll listen to most stuff but i am an avid fan of metal. this time round there's only ONE band playing that looks like they'll be playing decent metal. the rest will attract the sort of 14-15 year olds who follow the trends.
so i dont think i'll be wasting my money on this "musical goodness" this time round[/bold]
