Dockers need to concentrate on football as relegation rivals visit
TUESDAY'S disastrous 6-1 defeat at fellow relegation candidates Wivenhoe could have long-term consequences for Tilbury.
They have yet to receive a copy of the referee's report on a match in which they had two players and the entire management team sent off, but could face a big financial penalty from the FA in the light of previous disciplinary problems.
However, for the moment they have to concentrate on matters on the pitch. They are now just seven points clear of big-spending Wivenhoe from a game less.
Ilford are looking increasingly doomed at the bottom, but if the Dockers do not want to join them in relegation they need some improved results such as last Saturday's win at play-off chasing Enfield Town.
Tilbury are at home tomorrow (Saturday) to another lowly club, 18th-placed Witham Town, tomorrow.
