Dockers face mean defence

HAVING extended their league goalless streak to four matches with defeat at Maldon Town last weekend, third-from-bottom Tilbury face a difficult task in breaking the run against tomorrow's opposition.

Visitors Edgware Town have the sturdiest defence in the Ryman Division One North, having conceded just 17 goals in 29 matches this season - seven fewer than their nearest rivals - propelling them into third place.

Tilbury did find the net twice in midweek, but then their shooting boots went awry, losing a penalty decider against Bunham in the East Anglian Cup.
