WITH neither side involved in promotion or relegation issues, this match petered out into a goalless draw. Tilbury put on heavy pressure in the opening half-hour without being able to make it count.

And there was controversy on 55 minutes when Thamesmead’s Scott Mullholland, thinking that his side’s young goalkeeper Adam Woodward was receiving some rough treatment from the visiting front-runners, took his protests too far and was sent off after being shown a second yellow card.

The Dockers, of course, have main thoughts on Wednesday night’s big date when they take on Premier side Harrow Borough at Staines Town in the final of the League Cup.
