Tilbury 1, Staines Town 1 (after extra-time) (Tilbury won 4-2 on penalties) Ryman Legue Cup: Tilbury pulled off a great penalty shoot-out win over Staines to earn a semi-final home date with Billericay Town on Tuesday, March 17.

Manlee Brown gave the Dockers a 25th-minute lead, but Premier side Staines levelled in the fifth minute of injury-time through Mark Charles-Smith to take the tie into an extra half-hour.

Tilbury were thrown out of the competition after inadvertently fielding striker Dan Jones in last week’s fourth round success over Ramsgate when he had previously played for Great Wakering, but were reinstated on appeal.
