Maldon Town 0, Tilbury 3

TILBURY displayed far more clinical finishing than their Essex hosts to continue their late surge for the play-offs.

Chris Stowe opened the scoring when he beat the offside trap to chip over host keeper Dave McCartney.

Maldon saw a thunderous Alan Sampson effort rock the bar from 25 yards before visiting substitute Zubair Hazeem made it 2-0.

Nikki Love watched a great chance for the hosts go wide before Joe Keith fired home the Dockers’ third from the penalty spot after Maldon’s Adam Collins had handled in the box.

Good to see Tilbury are able to bounce back after the disappointment at Ilford, keep up the good work and we should have a season to remember. As the team gains experience together next season should be very interesting.
