FULL TIME
And that's it!
West Ham's young XI take victory here, winning 2-1.
Sadlier bagged both for the Hammers, getting a second half winner after Ibrahim sent the sides in at half-time level pegging!
Enjoyable game at Ship Lane. A lot of promise for Thurrock FC. Wonder how many of those on show will get contracts after this?
They entertain a Blackburn XI here on Monday night.
4:43pm
Flavio Tavares heads just wide for West Ham. Nice build up from West Ham, knocking the ball about well.
4:39pm
Substitution:
West Ham United:
Off- Dom Vose On- Flavio Tavares
4:37pm
Some of these Thurrock youngsters are very good on the ball, lots of pace and skill. Bodes well for the season. That said, these young West Ham pros are affording them a lot of time on the ball, as they did at Grays last night. Not sure there's much room for that in non-league. But we'll see!
Oooh good chance for Thurrock to level goes begging. Great ball in from Liam Foster, the left back, following a well worked short corner, but it's just too high for Okah.
4:31pm
Break in play for an injury here. Wearen is down, players taking the opportunity to get a drink. Ship Lane is still soaked in sunshine which makes a pleasant changed to the seemingly constant deluge in recent weeks.
4:28pm
Great chance for West Ham to double their lead! Not quite sure how they failed to. More good stuff on the edge of the box, releases Turgood into the area. He crosses and somehow the three on-rushing West Ham attackers fail to convert into an open net

4:21pm
Little bit of afters in the middle of the pitch, after Eoin Wearen is fouled by Daniel Okah. He's not happy with the way Okah went in. Ref Jerden diffuses the situation though.
4:18pm
Great play from Dom Vose. He wriggles into the box, pulls the ball back and Eoi Wearen's shot is deflected, then spilt by Hughes. Jamie Dicks clears the loose ball.
4:17pm
Substitution:
Thurrock FC:
Off- Wanadio On- Charlie Dove
Good chance for Thurrock - Stimson should have done better from the position he was in, though angle slightly against him. He shoots over from 10 yards.
4:14pm
Free kick in a dangerous area for Thurrock, which presented them with the chance to draw level immediately, is put over the bar.
4:11pm
GOAL! West Ham 2-1. The Hammers take the lead, the goal again coming from Sadlier . He latched on to a clever flick from Turgott and slotted it past Hughes. Clever football from the East Londoners and great pace and composure from Sadlier.
4:08pm
A quiet start to the second half but the game is starting to open up a little. A couple of good chances at both ends, with Thurrock firing wide from range and Sadlier failing to connect with a cross in from Blair Tugott.
4:02pm
West Ham have brought on Eoin Wearen, who played at Rush Green last night and Theo Borozan. Piquionne has made way.
3:59pm
The players are out for the second half then here. A couple of changes for Thurrock. Jordan Anderson is on at CB, Matt Thomson on in the middle.
3:46pm
HALF TIME
A good first half here.
West Ham took the lead early on through Sadlier, who, like the rest of the Hammers, started well. But Thurrock edged their way back into the game, drawing level following a decent strike from Ibrahim.
1-1
3:44pm
Still look a little susceptible to the pace of Piquionne on the break. The French international just collected a loose pass in midfield, ran at the centre-halves but his shot was high and wide.

3:43pm
Impressive first half from the Thurrock goalscorer, too. Another player good with the ball at his feet and very energetic. Formed a decent partnership with Thurgood, too.
3:41pm
Thurrock players linking up well at the moment. They look good down the right with Dicks and Wanadio. Might have just had a second, too. Some good passing on the edge of the box led to a stinging low shot which was spilt by Santiago, but Stimson couldn't convert the rebound.
The two forwards look very good with the ball into feet though. Promising stuff.
3:35pm
GOAL! Thurrock 1-1. They've been much better in the last five minutes and some sustained pressure has paid off. Wanadio's dangerous cross was cleared and fell to Hassan Ibrahim who hit a speculative effort. It caught Santiago out and bent into the top-right.
Great goal!
3:31pm
Better now from Thurrock. Neat run off the byline by Dicks, into Lewis Perkins who showed good feet before shifting the ball wide for Dicks to cross and earn Thurrock a corner.
The corner went short, with nothing coming of it. Goal kick.
3:26pm
Gary Jerden is the referee today. I'm told that he is a PE teacher at Harris Academy in Chafford Hundred. Doing well so far!
3:24pm
It's all West Ham at the moment. Their breaking forward swiftly and in numbers. Thurrock struggling. Piquionne has just put a shot from a pretty tight angle over the bar.
3:22pm
GOAL! 1-0 West Ham United and it's that man Sadlier. Clever play from Dom Vose to burst into the box, draw Hughes off his line before cutting it back to Sadlier to tap in.
3:16pm
Sadlier looking dangerous again for West Ham. Twisting and turning Dicks after collecting a clever through ball. His cross is deflected though and squirms through to Hughes.
At the heart of everything good that West Ham are doing here.
3:12pm
Good chance for West Ham as Piquionne springs the offside trap, but his ball acrodd the six yard box is intercepted by Brien, with Sadlier closing in.
3:10pm
Thurrock looking ok at the moment, not too rattled. On the attack, they're being restricted to efforts from distance though. Two have gone high and wide in the last five minutes.
3:06pm
Charlie Stimson, playing up top for Thurrock is manager Mark's son. Some pro-pedigree in Thurrock XI.
3:05pm
Thurrock moving the ball pretty well when in possession. Everything going through Thurgood, the Thurrock skipper.
3:04pm
Bright start to the game. Piquionne heads over in the best chance of the game so far. Great ball in from Sadlier after some great wing play. He looks as though he could be a handful for Dicks (related to Julian) at right-back for Thurrock.
3:01pm
Thurrock's first meaningful touch sees them win a free-kick in the middle of park, played out wide and crossed into the box. It's easily claimed by Santiago in the West Ham goal.
2:59pm
Apologies for sending that last update 5 times. Technology...
We're underway here!
2:58pm
The teams are coming out here at Ship Lane.
West Ham are in their changed sky blue strip, with claret hoops and Thurrock are in their yellow and green home kit.
Not quite sure what to expect here

Earlier in the week, the Thurrock Gazette caught up with new Thurrock boss Mark Stimson.
Here's what he had to say:
On pre-season: "It's an important time. Players are coming in and it gives me a chance to look at them and see if they're the right characters as well.
On the upcoming season: "It's time to take this club back to where it belongs. We'd like to do that straight away, but some times you have to walk before you can run.
"What we're going to be putting together this season is a very young side. The reasons for that are possibly financial, but I don't mind that, i've worked with young players before. They've got the hunger, they've certainly got the ability, we've just got to help them make the right decisions on the pitch. Then within time, they will take the club forward.
"There's only two senior players from here last year, David Hughes and Stuart Thurgood, then there are two young lads who are in the academy. We offered six to come back, but they've found clubs elsewhere, which is a shame."
2:18pm
A West Ham XI were run ragged by Grays Athletic last night, in the first game at the rejuvenated Rush Green.
You can see our report on that game here .

Welcome to our LIVE coverage of Thurrock FC v West Ham.
We're about 45 minutes from kick off here, with people slowly making their way into Ship Lane.
Will bring you team news as soon as it's in, but with West Ham playing in Colchester today, it's not clear whether there will be too many recognisable faces in the West Ham XI.
In fact, it's not clear how many recognisable facs there will be in the Thurrock line-up. It is thought most of the side will be made up of triallists.
