Visitors to Ship Lane guaranteed to celebrate
12:40pm Friday 19th March 2010 in News
ALTHOUGH Fleet themselves are rapidly fading from the play-off race there will be celebrations at Ship Lane.
For visitors Newport County will be travelling from Wales in the knowledge that they’ve already clinched the title and only automatic promotion spot.
It’s a tremendous triumph for a side managed by former Football League star Dean Holdsworth — and they’ve seven games still to go.
The Pulse cheerleaders give a special half-time performance.
Fleet themselves have slipped to ninth place following a run of three defeats and Tuesday’s 2-2 home draw with Woking.
Fixtures: Bath City v Braintree Town, Bishop's Stortford v Lewes, Chelmsford v Weymouth, Dorchester v Weston-Super-Mare, Dover v Bromley, Hampton & Richmond v Eastleigh, Havant & Waterlooville v Staines Town, Thurrock v Newport County, Welling v Maidenhead Utd, Woking v Basingstoke, Worcester v St Albans.
