Fleet face stern test tomorrow

Thurrock face a stern test of their promotion credentials tomorrow afternoon.

For Fleet, still filling the fifth spot, the final play-off place, despite their 1-0 defeat at Dorchester in midweek, travel to Surrey to take on second-placed Woking, known as the Cards.

Hakan Heytettin’s men are being closely trailed by a quartet of clubs just one point in arrears of them.

Fleet have acted quickly to re-arrange their home game with Maidenhead United, postponed last Saturday due to a frozen pitch.

The match will now be staged at Ship Lane on Tuesday, March 23.

Fixtures: Basingstoke v Hampton & Richmond, Bath City v Dover, Chelmsford v Eastleigh, Dorchester v Bromley, Havant & Waterlooville v Worcester, Lewes v Braintree Town, Maidenhead Utd v Bishop's Stortford, Newport County v Welling, St Albans v Weston-S-Mare, Staines Town v Weymouth, Woking v Thurrock.
