Thurrock have signed former professional Dennis Oli ahead of the new Ryman Premier League season.

Oli, who can include Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City and Grays Athletic among his former clubs, was playing for Farnborough last season.

But he will now return to work under manager Mark Stimson, who he played under at Grays in 2006 and also at Gillingham in the Football League.

And Stimson said he was excited to reunite with the winger.

“Dennis is a forward who has played under me at Grays Athletic and Gillingham and will add quality and experience to our squad,” he said.

“I am looking forward to working with him again.”

Oli, who is now 33, helped Farnborough win promotion from the Southern League Division One Central last season, scoring five goals in 14 appearances.

And he will hope to play an important role next term as Fleet look to establish themselves after their own promotion.
