Harlow Town 4–1 Thurrock
From the Harlow Arena
Ryman One North
THURROCK couldn’t hold onto their early lead as they were blown away by a record-breaking Harlow Town.
Fleet had taken an early lead when the ever-impressive Ronnie Winn buried a first-half opener, although Alex Read had already missed a penalty by this stage for the hosts.
Despite a number of chances for the home team as the half continued, they were unable to breach a resilient away defence.
However, it all went wrong in the second-half.
After just 20 seconds Harlow were level, as Remi Sutton could only steer a ball past his own goalkeeper.
And they took the lead 10 minutes later with a goal worthy of winning any match, as Junior Dadson fired home to make it 2-1.
Martio Noto added a third soon after before a fourth was netted by Reid with a delicate chip.
The result made it 12 successive wins for Harlow, as they hunt down AFC Sudbury in top-spot.
Fleet drop out of the play-off positions on goal difference following the result.
Thurrock: Madden, Morgan, Olafunisle, Baker, Sutton, Toner, Christou, Agombar, Francis, Winn, Cowley
