Thurrock 3-1 Heybridge Swifts
From Ship Lane
Ryman One North
THURROCK came from behind against Heybridge Swifts to make it seven league wins from their last nine matches in the Ryman One North.
Fleet went behind after just six minutes to the side sitting in 21st position in the league, as George Cole opened the scoring against the odds.
It took Fleet 20 minutes to draw parity, with Michael Toner getting his name on the scoresheet.
And it was the same man who turned the game on its head three minutes later, as he found the net emphatically.
Former Grays man Harry Agombar came on at half-time to make his Thurrock debut, but it was another substitute who made an instant impression.
Just six minutes after climbing off the bench, Ross Gleed made it 3-1 to secure the points and keep Thurrock firmly in the play-off mix.
Thurrock: Madden, Morgan, Clark, Toner, Sutton, Goode (Agombar), Baker, Christou, Cole (Gleed), Wall, Cowley
