GREAT Wakering Rovers’ Billy Johnson scored a hat-trick in seven first half minutes as his side thrashed Ryman One North rivals Thurrock 5-1 in the league cup last night.
Johnson netted in the 19th, 21st and 26th minutes to put Dan Trenkel’s side 3-0 up at the interval.
Lewwis Spence got one back for Fleet shortly after the hour mark, but Wakering responded with a late brace from Jay Nash capping a fantastic night at Burroughs Park.
