Fishing at Stanford

The Warren’s Match Lake at Stanford has been fishing very well, particularly early and late during the hot weather. There have been large catches of tench up to 7lb by pleasure anglers. And some bream have been showing — but not in large numbers. The Stock Exchange held their annual match on Saturday .The winner for the third year running was 'Wag' Waghorne with a magnificent 62lb of tench up to 6lb.
