Stars turn out for cancer-stricken Ernie

STAR names from the world of football including Paul Merson, Ian Dowie and Ray Parlour will be among the players in action at Grays on Sunday in a benefit match for cancer-stricken Blues player Ernie Cooksey.
Grays Athletic will face an Ex-Pro All Star XI at the New Rec ground starting at 3pm. Among those playing are Gary Phillips, Ashley Bayes, Joe Bruce, Justin Edinburgh, Scott Fitzgerald, Fitz Hall, Lee Hendry, Paul Merson, Efe Sodje, Leroy Lita, Aaron McLean, Steve Sedgley, Ian Dowie, Bob Dowie, Martin Carthy, Mark Robson, Andy Hessenthaler and Ray Parlour.
