Hendon 2–2 Grays Athletic
From Earlsmead
Ryman Premier League
A DUMEBI Dumaka brace was enough for Grays Athletic to secure a point at Hendon in a jam-packed game.
Blues got off to a storming start, taking the lead after just three minutes. It was Dumaka who got the ball rolling, blasting home from the edge of the box after a swift move.
Dean Cracknell leveled after 10 minutes, striking low into the corner and took control soon after.
After Alex Addai blocked a goal bound effort, Hendon took the lead when Cracknell headed into the corner.
But Dumaka was not to be outdone, as he made the most of some suspect defending to strike low beyond the goalkeeper.
Dumaka almost got his hat-trick before the break, but his header was straight down the stopper’s throat.
Into the second-half, Tommy Cummings shot just wide, with Joao Carlos denied by a tremendous save heading inside the far post.
Lamar Johnson made several impressive saves as the minutes ticked down, but the game ended 2-2.
Grays: Johnson, Ifill, Cummings, Cronin, Leader, Agyemang, Addai, Beaney, Dumaka, Fortnam-Tomlinson, Carlos
