Corinthian Casuals 1-0 Grays Athletic
From King Georges Field
FA Trophy third qualifying round replay
GRAYS Athletic conceded a goal deep into injury-time to crash out of the FA Trophy to Corinthian Casuals.
Juevan Spencer netted with 94 minutes on the clock to send Blues back to Essex empty handed, in a match of few chances.
Casuals earned a fine draw at Mill Field on Saturday, playing a tier below in the Ryman One South and they earned the victory tonight.
They started the brighter, with Spencer bringing a good early save out of Lamar Johnson.
There were a number of flash points in the first-half without any clear-cut chances.
Into the second-half, a ball was hooked off the Corinthian goal line and up the other end James Stevens hit the base of the post as Grays pressed.
Spencer was denied once again as the clock ticked down but he was to have the decisive say.
A run down the flank was met at the far post and he headed beyond Johnson to knock Grays out.
Grays: Johnson, Ifill, Cummings, Cronin, Leader, Stevens, Michael-Percil, Dumaka, Agombar, Fortnam-Tomlinson, Bentley
