EAST Thurrock United have revived their play-off bid with two good wins in the past week.
They followed last weekend’s home success over Ware with a 3-1 victory at bottom club Harlow Town on Tuesday.
That latter match saw star striker Sam Higgins return to his best form with a hat-trick and he leads the divisional leading marksman’s list with 24 goals.
Tomorrow, Rocks face a tricky visit to one of the division’s in-form sides, Maldon Town, who have dented the promotion aspirations of two challenging clubs in the past week.
Last weekend they triumphed 5-1 at third-placed Thamesmead Town before seeing off an understrength Great Wakering Rovers 3-1 at home on Tuesday. Rocks are currently fourth.
