Coventry's East Thurrock still have play-off aspirations

HAVING lost narrowly 4-3 at a Lowestoft side odds-on to win the title, East Thurrock are looking to boost their play-off bid tomorrow. Currently lying just outside the play-off spots in sixth position, Rocks host fourth from bottom Ware.

It’s a key time for John Coventry’s men who have 13 matches to go. But Rocks have emerged with all three points from just three of the 10 league matches played this year.

With tomorrow’s game being followed by a Tuesday night visit to bottom club Harlow, it’s a perfect time for the Rookery Hill outfit to start a final push for a repeat of last season’s tilt at the play-offs.
