THE PREVIEW: With FA Cup progression under their belts, East Thurrock United will be determined to maintain their good league form at Hungerford Town.

Rocks have lost just once this season and are unbeaten on the road so far. John Coventry’s team have won their last three away matches, including Tuesday’s FA Cup replay at Harlow Town.

Hungerford, having finished sixth last season, have struggled to hit the heights at the start of this campaign.

They were thumped 6-1 by Billericay Town in a cup replay of their own this week, following a 5-0 reverse against Braintree Town in their last league match.

Rocks will hope to take advantage of this slump in confidence tomorrow.

THE INSIGHT: “We have had an excellent start to the season on the road and there is no reason we can’t carry that on,” said Coventry. “We have enjoyed this season so far and want to continue doing what we have been doing.

“I have watched the video of Hungerford’s most recent league performance and learn as much as I can about what we are going into.

“I think it is a good time to go there. They started OK after their manager left but they have dropped off a little bit recently.

“But I am sure they will want to get back on it following two big defeats.”

THE TEAM NEWS: Striker Calvin Ekpiteta could make his Rocks debut, although Reece Harris misses out after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season.

French midfielder Vincente Belho-Anderson could feature.
