EAST Thurrock romped to one of their most impressive result of the season as they crushed Kingstonian 4-1 at Kingsmeadow.
Playing their first away match of the month, Rocks thrived thanks to goals from Ryan Scott, Ady Yusuff, Sam Higgins and Tom Wraight with their play-off chasing opponents no match.
And John Coventry’s men made the brighter start and took the lead after just 13 minutes. One of East Thurrock’s returning defenders made the impression, with Scott profiting to open the scoring.
However, that didn’t last long as Pelayo Pico-Gomez levelled the scores with a clinical finish just seven minutes later.
Level at the interval, Yusuff, Rocks’ on-loan striker from Dagenham & Redbridge, continued his impressive form and scored to put the away side back in front after 49 minutes.
Both sides exchanges chances as the game hung in the balance but Higgins’ 20th goal of the season ended the contest.
Wraight scored his eighth goal for the club four minutes later to put more gloss on what was a comprehensive victory and move up to 10th.
