Ryman Premier League
BRACES from Lewis Smith and Tom Wraight saw East Thurrock return to winning ways against Brentwood Town.
Beaten 3-1 by Billericay on Saturday, Rocks needed a response and they got it.
Smith opened the scoring midway through the half to continue his fine form, although they were dealt a blow when striker Sam Higgins was withdrawn 10 minutes later.
The home side got a boost on the stroke of half-time, with Smith getting his second from the penalty spot.
Wraight netted just before the hour mark, as he continued to impress in the yellow of East Thurrock and the same man completed the scoring with six minutes to go.
East Thurrock: Lidakevicius, Sammons, Peddie, Scott, Wood, Robson, Smith, Craddock, Higgins, Gilbey, Wraight
