THE PREVIEW: It will be the first time in seven years that Rocks will take on Staines, having previously done battle in the Ryman Premier Division. However Staines’ relegation last year means they will face off again tomorrow.

Rocks were comfortable winners in the FA Cup on Tuesday, while the Swans have struggled in the early stages of the season, recording only one win at home so far and languishing in 14th.

East Thurrock have also struggled in the league so far this season, sitting one place below Staines although seven of their 10 points have come away from home.

WHAT HE SAYS: Rocks boss John Coventry said: “It has been a while since we played there but it doesn’t hold too many happy memories as we lost to Bury in the Ryman League Cup final in 2012. But I see this match as a potential opportunity.

“The team togetherness is strong after the trips to Yaxley and going through has put everyone in good spirits. This is now a good time to put some points on the board against a Staines side who haven’t had the best start.
