EAST Thurrock United’s match against Yaxley was abandoned due to a serious injury to winger Kris Newby.
After 75 minutes and with the match goal less, Newby suffered a suspected dislocated elbow. After a long delay the midfielder was taken to hospital.
Both sides had hit the woodwork before the abandonment, with Rocks set to travel back to Yaxley tomorrow night.
