Aveley nearer top flight survival tally

RYMAN PREMIER: Aveley are now just nine short of the 50 points total they’ve always reckoned will be enough to make certain of them maintaining the top flight status they fought for last term.

In a tight division, the Millers, after two wins in the past week, could find themselves not far off the play-off places with victories in two key away games over the next four days.

Both of their rivals are involved in the fight against the drop with tomorrow’s visit to third from bottom Bognor Regis being followed by a trip to Cray Wanderers next Tuesday.
