Millers through in bid to hold on to trophy
London APSA 0, Aveley 2
AVELEY kept their hold on the Essex Thames-side Trophy with a 2-0 victory against London APSA.
The underdogs competed on level terms in the first half, but goals from Christian Wheeler (66 mins) and Wayne Vaughan (79 mins) gave the Ryman Division One North side victory.
Millers included new signing Richard Oxby in a side that also featured several players who have recently been on the fringe of the first team squad.
