Stringer wants 50 points as fast as possible
8:33am Friday 5th March 2010 in News
AVELEY boss Rod Stringer is anxious that his side reach the 50 point target he feels certain will ensure his side retain their status at the top level.
Millers three-match winning league run ended when they lost at home to Harrow Borough and they now stand 17th on 35 points with 15 games to go.
Tomorrow they’ll look for three points at home to an Ashford Town (Mx) side whose play-off hopes are fading. Millers then go to bottom club Waltham Abbey on Tuesday.
Millers will go into tomorrow’s match boosted by Monday’s League Cup quarter-final success over Canvey — their third victory over Gulls this term.
