THE Millers saw their hopes of keeping pace with top dogs East Thurrock wrecked when they were held at home by Maldon.
The visitors took the lead on 12 minutes when a cross from the left saw Neil Love take advantage to shoot home into an open goal.
Richard Ketchell grabbed Aveley’s 28th minute equaliser. But, with Sean Thomas, Bryan Hammatt and Junior Dadson all going close, they could not force a winner.
