AVELEY came from behind to claim a point at AFC Sudbury in James Webster's second game in charge.

The Millers threw away a two-goal lead in the new manager's first match at the helm, with Soham Town Rangers scoring a last minute equaliser to salvage a 2-2 draw at Parkside on Saturday.

But it was Aveley who were to score a late leveller this time, as they claimed a 1-1 draw on the road.

Billy Holland gave the hosts an 11 minute lead, as the side who dropped down to the Isthmian North last term looked to make home advantage count.

But Jordan Watson, who also netted on Saturday, found the back of the net with just nine minutes remaining to salvage a point for the visitors.

Aveley: Madden, Preston, Woodward, Coyne (Osei 67'), Stephenson, Twumasi, West (Bolle 64'), Doyle, Watson, Koranteng, Gleed (Peart 64')
