Aveley 3-1 Soham Town Rangers
From Mill Field
Ryman One North
AVELEY continued their end of season surge with a fine three points against Soham Town Rangers.
Goals from Jack Edwards, Abs Seymour and Perry Dunn were enough for Justin Gardner’s side, who had been unlucky to come away from their match with leaders AFC Sudbury on Saturday with nothing.
It took just 60 seconds for the first goal to come as Edwards lashed a strike into the corner with the outside of his boot.
Seymour and Michael Pindy came close before the second goal on the half hour mark.
A give-and-go with Arian Retkoceri put Seymour in the clear and he finished with aplomb.
But Soham were back in it before the break, with Salim Relizani scoring past James Marrable.
Dunn cleared one off the line after half time as Soham searched for the equaliser before he made an equally telling contribution up the other end, scoring to make it 3-1 and get his third goal in four matches.
Aveley: Marrable, Dunn, Conway, Coyne (Oseyemi), Yala, Edwards, Nash, Retkoceri (Olliwatimilenhin), Pindy (Asante), Tobon, Seymour
