AVELEY made it three wins from four with a thumping win at Redbridge.

The Millers won 4-1 on what turned out to be a comfortable afternoon for Justin Gardner’s men.

Goals from Liam Nash, James Peagram, Paul Preston and Petrit Elbi ensure the points returned to Mill Field, with a late goal for the hosts the only blot on a triumphant day.

Redbridge started well and saw an early effort cleared off the line by Spencer Harrison, with goalkeeper James Marrable beaten.

But the Millers took the lead, when Preston and Elbi combined to free Nash, who tucked home with ease.

The second goal came on the stroke of half-time and was executed brilliantly.

A fine driving run from Abs Seymour saw Peagram put in the clear and he dinked over the onrushing keeper to make it 2-0.

Seymour himself was denied in the second-half as Aveley closed ranks, with the third goal not coming until five minutes from time.

Elbi made it, keeping the ball in against the odds and Preston was in the right place to prod home.

Ryan Carolan pulled one back for Redbridge but Elbi, who had been excellent all day, had the last laugh as crashed home a penalty after Seymour had been fouled.
