MATT Pooley scored an 86th minute equaliser as Fleet left high-flying Wealdstone with a well-earned point.
Mark Stimson included two new boys, Sam Berry and Ben Smith in the starting eleven on Saturday. His team gave a decent account of themselves against Conference South side Welling in the FA Cup replay on Tuesday night.
Through Charlie Stimson, Fleet took the lead after 36 minutes who tapped in despite Stones keeper Banks having done well to keep out two shots in the build-up.
On the stroke of half-time, Stones, who sit fourth in the Ryman Premier League, levelled the scores through a deflected 25-yard strike by Kurtney Brooks.
Lawrence Yiga, who was at fault for Welling’s third goal on Tuesday night, was unfortunate to turn the ball into his own net after on 73 minutes after he had tried to clear a tame shot from Kurtney Brooks.
But with four minutes remaining, sub Pooley tapped in fellow sub Harry Honesty’s cross from the left.
Despite the gritty draw, Fleet remain bottom of the Ryman Premier League with just four points from seven games.
