RUGBY: THURROCK’s T-Birds prepared for their match against Premier league leaders Worcester this Sunday, with a vistit from England Women’s Head Coach, Gary Street. He made his first visit to Oakfield to give them the women’s team benefit of his experience in Women’s Rugby.

Gary praised Thurrock’s ground and facilities.

And he praised T-Birds for their show of spirit and determination in the face of heavy defeats in this their first Premiership oputings.

Thurrock T-Birds play Worcester on Sunday, October 7 at Oakfield.

KO is planned for 2.30pm.

Entrance to watch the only Premiership Rugby side in Essex is free.

And The T-Birds and Thurrock RFC will make all visitors to the club feel welcome.
